
Click Apply and then OK to save your changes.
Scroll down to the bottom and uncheck the “ Remove background images (where available)” option. From the context menu, click on Properties option and a Windows 10 OS Property window will open up. Click Set up High Contrast to open the Make the computer easier to see menu. Click on Start button and right-click on My Computer button as you cannot access it from the desktop background icon.
Restart your system and you should be able to browse and set your background image. In the Properties window select the Disable option, and save the changes by clicking OK. If your IT team has blocked you from changing your wallpaper, I am sure you are totally blocked from running. In the right pane, find the policy Prevent changing desktop background and double-click on it. So a domain user wont be able to change it. Once in there, I just removed the profile. I went into System Preferences, and there was a profile icon that I could open. This is usually the case when you are apart of an educational institution or business that distributes devices or wants to have more control over what takes place on the devices, mainly for security reasons. It would only apply to you if your computer is managed by a Mobile Device Management (MDM) host.
