Yeah my OP wasn't well thought out, I was kind of short of time. Each additional element would also come with a brand new associated atronach which could be summoned from Oblivion and of course some new shouts.Įdited by LordSarcasm, 25 December 2012 - 06:56 AM. Other additional elements might include shadow, sound, gravity, plant-life and perhaps an expansion on telekinesis (wasted potential in vanilla game I think) among others. Air would lean more towards speedy combat like a ranger or duel-wielder. Water based mages would lean more towards restoration and alchemy among various other relationships. It could also come with an overhaul allowing players to specialize in certain classes that could benefit from the various other elements, earth or rock for warriors, perhaps with some smithing bonuses or armor perks. Imagine being able to fire a blast of water out of your hands and fire-hose your enemies off a cliff, or spawn a tornado or smash a boulder over their head with your mind. In just about every other universe with some kind of functional magic all of the traditional elements are given a place in a wizard's arsenal.

I've always found it disappointing that mages only have a choice between three elements, fire, frost and electricity.
